A quarter-pound never-frozen beef patty, three strips of Applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, ketchup, mustard and mayo on a potato bun. It first launched in 1992, making it one of the longest-running items on Wendy’s national menu, and the bacon-and-beef combination the modern Baconator later built on.
How is it different from the Baconator?
The Baconator drops the produce entirely, no lettuce, tomato, pickle or onion, and doubles both the patties and the bacon to six strips, with just cheese, ketchup and mayo. The Big Bacon Classic keeps the classic full-produce build with a lighter three strips of bacon on a single patty. Next to the plain Dave’s Single, it is the same burger with bacon added.
